Media Projects
Throughout my studies, I had the opportunity to work on a range of creative media projects across video production, broadcast, documentary storytelling and digital content. Each project challenged me to develop new technical and creative skills while strengthening my passion for visual storytelling and production.
What’s On?
Live Television Programme
Producer
For my final project in Advanced Media Productions, I took on the role of Producer for a live TV programme, leading a five-person team through the planning and delivery of the show.
I was involved in creating the schedule, running order and crew documentation, as well as creating the graphics, editing the pre-recorded videos and putting together the opening and closing sequences.
It was a great opportunity to get involved in almost every part of producing a live programme and definitely taught me how much has to happen behind the scenes to make a show look seamless!

There’s No Place Like Home
Radio Documentary
For this project, I worked as part of a three-person team to create, produce and edit a radio documentary exploring the student housing crisis in Ireland.
We used an archive-style approach to tell the story, combining original interviews with fictional future framing to explore what the crisis could look like if things continued on the same path. It was a fun project to experiment with different ways of telling a real story while keeping the people and experiences at the centre of it.

Erasmus Spotlight: A Student's Experience in Bergen
TV Feature
For this solo project, I produced a short-form TV feature for a simulated breakfast show, interviewing an Erasmus exchange student about her experience studying in Bergen, Norway.
I wanted to capture both the cultural differences and the more personal side of studying abroad, turning the interview into a short, engaging segment that could fit naturally into a breakfast television format.

Fjord Swimming in Norway
Video Project
During my semester abroad in Volda, Norway, I took part in a video project exploring the benefits of cold-water swimming from the perspective of an international student.
The project gave me the chance to work alongside a diverse crew with different backgrounds and levels of experience. We worked together through the different stages of the production, learning from each other and developing our skills by getting stuck in and doing it ourselves.
It was one of those projects where the best way to learn was simply to get involved and working with people from different creative and cultural backgrounds made the experience even more interesting.

Crime in Music Videos: Representation, Glamorisation or Glorification?
Video Essay
In this solo project, I explored how crime is portrayed in popular music videos, analysing seven videos across three themes: representation, glamorisation and glorification.
I used Stuart Hall's theories of culture and media to ground the analysis and produced a literature-based video essay combining academic research with visual examples from the music videos.
