Brusna Energy Solutions

Digital Marketing Administrator

Industry: Home Insulation & Retrofitting

Duration: July 2025 - June 2026

My previous role was Digital Marketing Administrator at Brusna Energy Solutions.

Working as the sole marketing person, I had to wear many hats. I was responsible for all of our social accounts, setting and working towards marketing targets, advertising open positions within the company, and sourcing and purchasing merchandise for both employees and customers. It was a very busy role for a fresh graduate!

Being responsible for the marketing side of a growing company meant that I got to try my hand at a bit of everything. From planning social content and creating graphics to updating the website, looking at analytics and figuring out what actually worked, I learned a huge amount in a relatively short space of time.

More than anything, the role taught me to be adaptable. When you're the only person looking after marketing, there's nobody else to hand something off to, you have to figure it out. That's something I hope to bring with me into whatever I do next.

Heat Pump Case Study

What was the project?

One of the projects I worked on during my time at Brusna was promoting their heat pump installation service. Heat pumps are a more sustainable alternative to traditional oil boilers, and the focus of this campaign was to make customers aware that it was a service Brusna offered.

What did I do?

I increased the focus on heat pumps across Brusna's social media between March and May 2026. I created and published 7 posts during this period, compared with just 1 post between December and February, with the aim of making more customers aware of the service.

The response

Heat pump enquiries increased from 3 between December–February to 26 between March–May.

Social Media

I managed Brusna's Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn accounts, creating and scheduling 3–4 posts each week while keeping the brand consistent across each platform.

Social Media Rebrand

During my time at Brusna, the company also went through a rebrand. I helped bring the new branding across our social channels, from updating our profiles and visual style to creating new templates and content that reflected the new identity.

A bit of everything

Marketing at Brusna went beyond social media. I also got involved in everything from merchandise and recruitment to website updates and general company projects.
